What TLDR is

TLDR is a personal information filter and attention product. It watches interests you configure, filters noise, and delivers a small finite briefing (plus related Mode intercepts, Watchers, and receipts) so you can stop compulsive checking.

What TLDR is not

TLDR is not a news organization, wire service, or source of record. It is not a complete archive of the internet. It is not a medical, mental-health, or crisis product. It is not silent full-browser surveillance.

TLDR does not claim to read private DMs or every private item inside third-party apps. Mode and Watchers work from destinations and interests you explicitly choose.

Summaries and completeness

Briefings and summaries can be incomplete, delayed, outdated, or wrong. Topics move fast. Sources disagree. Model-generated text can miss nuance or invent details.

If a decision matters (money, health, legal, safety), verify with primary sources. Do not rely on TLDR alone.

Receipts and “time saved”

Attention receipts and time-saved figures are estimates meant to illustrate product value. They are not lab measurements, financial statements, or guarantees of hours you will reclaim.

No guaranteed results

People differ. TLDR may help some users feel caught up with less checking and may not help others. We do not guarantee you will never miss a story, feel less FOMO, or change any particular habit.
